    Good Afternoon All,

As the title suggests I'm looking to join the classic Mercury club and I need to get a pre-purchase inspection of a 1951 Merc I'm looking at in MN.

Does anyone have any good garage/specialist recommendations please who may be able to carry this out?

I've had a search through the forum and couldn't see any posts which specifically related to anyone in MN.

The car is about an hour north of Minneapolis.

    Thanks!

I am north of Minneapolis. Dont know much about Mercs, but can usually tell if is nice or not.
Not sure I could get time to look at it but might be able to find someone who could.
    Where is it located?

    Hi Pav,

    Thanks for replying.

Ideally I'm looking to make sure that it runs and drives ok, and that it isn't a pile of rust underneath, in the boot, sills, and other regular places.

I've managed to get a few reasonable pictures from the detailer and a couple of videos, but ideally I'd like some more.

It's located in Mora, at Route 65 sales.

I've also had another member kindly message me. Ideally it would be someone that knows a bit about Merc's and their common faults, whether that be someone professional, or an enthusiast.

  4. Drop a line to @Moriarity or @titus on here. They know what they're doing and live in the Twin Cities area. If they can't help, they will know someone who can.

    Thanks @Tman.

Has anyone had any experience of AAG (Auto Appraisal Group Inc)?

Here's the car, license plate is MS172.
