Recommended Wheel Size

If I decide not to sell my 46 Ford Club Coupe, I am thinking about changing out the stock 16-in wheels & bias ply tires for a set of 15s and radials. Since the car has a front Posies reverse eye spring, I would like to give it a good stance therefore what size wheel/tires would you recommend for the back and front? Thanks.

 

I had 235/70-15 rear and 215/70-15 front on my '47 coupe and thought they were about right.............
