what a great adventure. thanks for sharing.

  4. What a kick-ass find!!! I'd be tempted just to get that coupe cleaned up, running, and stopping, and just DRIVE it as-is! Cars like that come once in a blue moon, and we just had one of those.

Your hauler is cool as hell, too. I'd dig finding a Chevy, GMC, or Dodge hauler like that.

yeah - I have to get rid of that trim piece - not sure if that was a cosmetic decision or if there is something functional going on there.......but either way - it is most likely gonna be gone.

Thanks for posting the pix COS - Didnt even know you had those!

    Great stuff

as for that bumper - I still dont know if I need it - gotta see if they actually painted the one that is on there right now..........if so - then I will put Tommys on there or take it off and get it redone......

    we will see

cant wait to get it rollin

  6. Nice !!!!pals for sure !!!!
3 in that truck cab means all were touching and had arms around each other ..middle is warmest even by the shifter hole .. .. (snuggler wanna bees ) add extra heat ya did by gettin pulled over and gettin undressed to show i.d.'s .
Truck quits before arrival.. So all hands were cold/numb by time of loadin ... Once coupe is on the truck .... All down hill from there ..

Gosh...... It rolled and had air in the tires and ya did not have to dig it out!!geeezz and youse guys were complainin sorta ..
    Good show men

You have to get John to tell us what he paid for it, so we all can be envious. Nice score.

Nice find John. It's good to see some of the old stuff heading into Iowa instead of the usual out. Can't wait to see it this summer.

  22. Now that is a barn find! Great story and pics. Are those 50's Pontiac gauges mounted under the dash? Keep us posted!

people like the spare on the back?

I was gonna keep it - but take it off.......
and those added lights are probably gone too........
but - it does make it look different from most 35s out there huh?

as for touching it up - I will most likely NOT do that - I will drive it as is until I can afford to really paint it......
and there are a lot of things have to be done to it before paint even comes close to happening.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their thoughts and comments on the 35 and the Punk Rods super cool hauler!
