Hello, As far as the HAMB date of 1965 or earlier, this chopped 32 ford 3 window coupe meets the criteria of “Traditional.” Built in 1958, filmed in 1959 and a weekend racer almost every weekend during the 58-60 time period at Lion’s Dragstrip in Long Beach/Wilmington, CA I filmed this Altered Coupe at Lion’s Dragstrip when we had a break between elimination rounds for our class racing the 58 Impala. It was one of the fastest Altered Coupes, but not in the A/A class. It had a Flathead motor and usually won the C/A class. Jnaki One reason I filmed this 32 Ford Altered Coupe was that one of the choices to build a race car was a 25% set back build in the Altered Class. At the time, my brother was thinking a Paxton Supercharged SBC motor for power. The two choices for a drag race car build were a street legal Model A Gas Coupe or a 32 Ford Altered Coupe both powered with a supercharged SBC motor. Cook and McCartney C/A 1932 Ford Coupe
