    **** this new wave **** ,I like POPCORN ....

Have to be PC now-o-days,don't cha know.....

Don't step on on ones toes..........

Paint your rims red if ya want to ,its up to ya.If you like it GREAT,

Just know not everyone cares for it..PERIOD !

  3. The "ad" or spam you speak of is no different than the link to Pro Mod site in your signature... Where you also sell t-shirts.

You are right, it "may" help.

And the traditional hot rod in my drawing is not the same as your car, it does not have fake patina.

  4. LOL, word for word what I thought when I saw the pictures.

Trailers are for boats, coupes are for chickens, red wheels are for rat rods and RV's are for old folks, looks like you have all the bases covered. There, now somebody has insulted you properly.

Of course I'm just yanking your (rusty) chain a little. I could care less what somebody else does with their money or their car. If that's how you do your thing, I say MoPar to ya, red wheels and all. BTW, that A rocks!

4T6 - go easy, he's a tuff ole concrete finisher or pumper from the cartoon on his site. Must have gotten out of the biz at the right time to afford that set up or sells a **** load of t-shirts.
And you stand corrected - that is california patina.

I'm thinking the same thing, kinda nice to see someone admit trailering and show their rig. It's the guys that try to make you believe they drive everywhere and their trailer is out behind the motel that bug me. Gary

I'd roll in his rig any day! Love it!

Nice meeting you and your lovely wife, see you down the road!

I still can't believe she drives that set up when you follow in your hot rod, it is HUGE!

Great looking car. (fake patina and all, haha). Of course, if it was in a ****py old ugly trailer, you'd catch hell on here, or at least you would have a few years ago. Concrete work is damned hard. I know, I've done it. You deserve the rest now, but I'm still surprised that the HAMB police haven't ripped you a new one for pulling a trailer queen. Things have changed around here, for sure. Once upon a time, no one in their right mind would have posted a photo of a fake patina car rolling into a mobile garage. It's your money, enjoy it how you want. Your car is better than anything I'll ever own and your RV is worth more than my entire world. I will say that if you come to our car show in Austin, you may want to hide that trailer a few miles away or you'll never hear the end of it. Hot rodders around here tend to drive the snot out of their cars whenever possible. You'd catch a ribbing for sure ;)

I think most of us realize that if a person wants to camp at an event in a motorhome AND bring his car, that the car will need to be trailered OR the wife/parnter in crime drives one while the other person drives the other WHICH from what Megan said in an earlier post is exactly what they do sometimes....now the fake patina is a different story....... and you're right, it is a kinder, gentler HAMB nowdays.:D

  16. I've been to the motorhome show they have in Daytona each spring... I hear they have one in Sturgis too. I'd hate to see us turn into what those have become. Less about community, and more about oneupmanship.

I might just be full of **** and that could never happen to us...

I guess I just don't understand it. Why do so many of you get so bent out of shape because a guy wants to trailer his car? Does it somehow affect you and how you enjoy your car? I don't have a trailer, don't have a need or desire for one, but, it damn sure doesn't bother me if someone chooses to trailer his car. If you are getting pissed because the car is a "show car", you need to put your need for one of those cheap ***ed trophies in perspective.

I "USE TO" to drive everywhere.
Now I have a wife and a son, who "require" A/C and the amenites of a newer vehicle along with the reliability.

So I trailer now if its out of town and the fam is coming along. If not, I drive the wheels off my junk!

The next trailer I buy will be the firstone I buy but it will be for the Bonneville car I am building.
Drove my roadster down from Santa Rosa, 450 miles both ways. Rides rough, steers hard, and I get sun burned and can't hear for a day because of the wind. Can't wait till next year!! and Bonneville too!!

  24. I am not a fan of trailered Fair ground queens, but if your taking your motor home whats the options? Take 2 cars, not with the gas prices, and I like having my wife with me not in another car. I am curious mr. 4t64rd when you go for an over nighter where do you sleep? On the ground or in a motel? We usually stay at a motel ourselves, or do you not go to shows farther than a couple hrs. drive.
I don't think LARS is going to become an rv show, but for some the RV is a better option than a motel or the ground. You know the Goodguys show in Pleasanton has a huge rv area, and I don't think it has hurt the show and I have stayed in the campground there(in a tent) and it is all about community
To each their own, this whole thing is supposed to be fun...

  26. Ya know, I wuz gonna write a book on the rules of hot rodding.

Wouldn't work for a couple of reasons.

Even if I was 14 years old I wouldn't live long enough to finish it.

And . . . as soon as it wuz done, the rules would change....

Me thinks a lot of you are jealous. I will trailer my car a couple of times this year. My camper is an 83 that I paid 800 dollars for but I cant sleep on the ground any more. I cant afford to stay at a motel either. I would rather spend hotel money on my car. Some day I hope to have a rig like that. My trailer is open. Traditional does not mean cookie cutter. Too many of you just like to complain to get more thread counts. When you type of people tell me what to do with my car I tell them I am not building the car for you to like, I built it for me. Cant we all just get along? I love his car, but thats me.
