anyone know where i can find some 53 customline parts?? also i was hopping someone could give me a ball park estimate of how much it will cost to drop a few inches and put on an airbag system..? any input would be helpful thank you..

Try Jamco Suspension for the front end air bag stuff, and for conventional rear lowering parts. But, before you order, give Jim a call and ask why the '49-'52 air bag kit won't fit a '53? Seems like it should, but their listing is very specific that it won't...but doesn't say why? Anybody here know? Member SlmLrd just went air bag on his '52 after removing a conventional lowering kit. He may be able to shed some light. PM him, but please ask that he put his response here so we can all benefit. A number of us use Jamco Suspension parts and all are pleased, to the best of my knowledge. They are undergoing growing pains and can be slow at times, but the wait is always worth it as their parts are superb. Good luck...and, ya, be posting some pics of your ride!
