Redneck Rumble 5- the rumors are NOT true

Contrary to some rumors floating around, the Redneck Rumble has NOT been run out of Lebanon as reported on the tv news and radio. Actually the mini-truck show left because they say they are being harassed. Not sure what the problem is, but in 4 years, I don't know of any incident with any of my show participants and the pd.

Just wanted to let everybody know the date for this year's Redneck Rumble 5;

It's Sept 17 & 18 2010.

Friday the 17th is early check in and a cruise of the square, the cruise will leave about 7-ish then return to the fairgrounds for some music by Hellfire Revival.

Sat morning registration is from 7am to 10 am. Show gates open at 10am.
Live music all day, swap meet, pin-stripers, memorabilia and more.

Sat night is the Rumble King Demolition Derby.

Show is open to pre-1968 traditional hot rods and customs, antiques and yes rat-rods. I know there has been a ton of discussions about rats, love em or hate em they are out there, and guys are building and driving them. If you are a traditional purist and have vast knowledge, PLEASE don't just huff away, come out and share it with these young guys; they're really not that bad of folks, and you may be able to teach them something important like frame geometry or how to properly set up their front ends, that's alot more productive than just griping about them. At least they are trying and we haven't lost them to the bumble bees, yet.

The Road Rockets will definately be there, our reservations are made and we can't wait to get there and see everyone! We had such a great time last year and the hospitality was out of this world, we've told everyone that it is a must attend show! The show had some very neat pieces and the vendors and swap meet area was awesome. Tell those PoorBoys to save some spots, we're on our way!

How's the camping situation there might shoot down from nyc

 

tent camping is $10 per person, RV spots are $25.00

very nice showers and restrooms.

the fairgrounds is HUGE, we won't have any trouble finding you a patch of grounds.

 

It really is a FUN show!

We poor boys will be there and yes we will save spots for our friends from Indy Road Rockets and our local buddies, w/ scooter and Doris blessings of course!

Look forward to another great show at the fairgrounds; this is a must do show for the locals and nearby states. -Even had the Milltown boys from way up north ventured down to the show a few years back. Can't wait!
