Thanks Hershambob!!! Those are really helpful. Helpful to see what I am missing and helpful to see what I need to make. Bottom door ones are exactly what I needed. I am missing all of that. :(

    32 guys...

I need a photo of the latch on a 32 trunk, I need the actual latch location and where it bolts to the inner trunk skin??? Does this make sense??

Here are some from another thread that could definitely be useful to use. It's JimSig's car.

    Door tops widened..

The top hinge was cut, so that the door now lines up 'properly'(I say perfectly, but the word properly works!)

Pic of Gordon, filing the lead..

This was already done when we showed..

Two things: I wish my trunklid fit on my body like that. Actually, I wish it fit on my body period. I'll post some up in my thread later.

The very last photo: the subrails are in. How do they connect to the body? Does the body sit on them, and they (the subrails) get welded to the body?

Driving it yet?? Yeah I'm gonna be driving it from one storage spot to another....in the back of my pickup:D:D:D. It's gonna be a long long while before it's on the road. I've got some other things to get up and running before the 5w gets my undivided attention.

I've got a lot of the pieces that I need to ***emble the body with the exception of door skins so it's nice to know at least some progress has been made.

Good to hear people are finding the thread useful. As for me, I stopped working on it to work on other things, then bought a 32 Phaeton which prompted me to take it outside to take pics so I can sell it.

Now as of two weeks ago, I am BACK to working on it because I want to see the body through and get it in shape before selling it. I am giving my self until Jan 9th 2014. The day I turn 32. :D:D:D

I got all the lead out of the top insert tack strip and that's looking pretty good. I'm extracting the hinges tomorrow so that I can start on the doors this weekend or asap.

JJ, sorry we couldn't hook up last week when I was in concord. I have a buddy that visits the legends shop for parts and I head that way a time or two with him. Hopefully we can catch up next time. The 5wd looks like a major project. I like seeing all the pics that everyone has posted. I'm in the hunt for a body as I have a rolling ch***is I put together so i'm subscribing to the thread.

I cant find anything on google and I even dont have a bunch of 32 fords to look at.

Please do not use this photo for your reference,,It does not fit in like that...The gutter for a trunk and one for a rumble are different from each other..Above photo is installed incorrectly..

I see, hope someone comes up with some info how it should be.
I have a normal trunk, no rumble seat.

How is that wrong exactly ?? That pic is years old so i don't remember what stage it was at. I think the 90 deg part is for the lip on the top of the rear panel to fit over.

just like that. the rest of the rear rain gutter sits on top of that piece. and a few mounting screws to hold them together, the angle of the rest of the part will be some thing you want to consider the deck lid rubber bumpers fit in the holes and they can be sanded to make the deck lid gap correct, but there is some room to adjust the part to fine tune the deck lid area.
