Registered my A- NO PAPERWORK!

If you have an old frame with vin, build a car from swap meet parts and have some numbers off a Model A engine... or ANY older car for that matter... you CAN register it no problem... I've done it, my friends have done it, my dad did it.

1. get DMV form.
2. fill form out as completelt as you can.
3. Have a peace officer come to your house or take the rolling hulk down to the DMV on a trailer.
4. Have peace officer or DMV worker look at the numbers that are stamped in the frame or that YOU stamped in the frame.
5. Take paperwork to DMV.
6. Pay money.
7. Get plates handed to you along with registration... that's it, end of discussion... if they ask you where you got it... tell them whatever your heart leads you to tell them... if you tell them the truth, you may have to pay more, if you tell them a lie, you will have to pay less.

Either way, your car will be registered as a "whatever it is".

 

can someone post the link to the serial number verification sheet???? i cant seem to find it on that site.
