name's dan, i operate the ever-increasingly out-o-date danielstrohl.com - good for modifieds and L22 Chevy six info. own a 71 Nova, collecting parts for my own modified and continually searching for a 48-53 Chevy or GMC COE.

Was on the right track with all of that until recently, when Hemmings hired me on as an****ociate editor. Dropped everything in Ohio and skedaddled over to southwestern Vermont about as soon as I could - for a car guy who happens to be a writer, this is the*****. the nova and all the modified parts are still in ohio until I find a garage here in Bennington.

spent so long underground because I was getting a second bachelor's in web development. there went several grand I could've better spent. at least my site should function smoother now.

that's it exactly. that one i brought home with no brakes, no power steering and no mirrors. got to know the backroads of Sandusky real well that day. the other one's in Hog Heaven. i thought he took the 4.3s out of both engines. so what's powering yours then?

It still has the original 4.3 engine and still has the red muffler.
It has some small holes in the roof like it had light bar or something on it.
I bought it to use as a parts chaser,it runs pretty good.

Welcome back and congrats on the completion of your school. Please do me a favor and tell the nice folks at Hemmings that a Elcamino is a Chevelle. I talked with a Hemmings rep " not a car person" until I was sick of trying to explain.Thank You
