Since I qualify as mostly a mega-lurker, I'll reintroduce myself. The last time I think I spoke of my projects I maybe had my MGB/GT (little British car if you didn't know). A few years back I came across a screaming deal on a barn-stored '30 Model A Briggs Town Sedan. I've thrown a few things at it over the past several years and it's only let me down on the road.... uh... a few times. My other projects include the MG as mentioned, a lowered VW Beetle and a pair of motorcycles, a '71 Honda CB350 done up as a cafe' racer and a stock-ish '65 Norton Atlas. I have a T of some sort on my bucket list, maybe two. Maybe more. Who knows. Also I have a '30 A Roadster itch that may need a scratch, but that depends on how much scratch I have. My big bucket-list car is a '71 DeTomaso Pantera (first year of the Ford era Panteras) but they're quickly getting to being worth more than my house, so that may never come to fruition. Yes, that's me broken down on the road on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Did I say broken down? I meant enjoying the scenery from a static position. She's mostly stock, '35 wheels with bigs/littles, some friction shocks, a downdraft carb, real police head, and some homebrew turn signals. Still stock 6v.
Welcome to the HAMB from Illinois. I was in Holland a week ago on a vacation trip. Lots of good Model A build info on this site.
