There's a guy 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities that has a hood for a '60 Chevy truck that I need badly. Anyone driving a pick-up truck from there to Indianapolis, Ft. Wayne, Toledo or southern Michigan? I'm coming up for the holidays and can hit any of those places. I'm in Atlanta, and can pick it up anywhere in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina or anywhere along I-75. Thanks, -Brad
Brad, if you can get it anywhere near me (I'm a few miles from the TN/KY state line off I-65) I'll do what I can. I know LouverDude and Fiddy come back and forth from up there sometimes, I've hooked up with them on a couple relays.
I'm in eastern Iowa and can get it through there, over to maybe Peoria, Il if someone could help split the distance to the twin cities from home. Doug
Im real close to J-man, I-75 is about an hour from me so if i can help let me know. Oh I'm an hour from toledo and ft. wayne bob
im from near monroe ,mi and will be in pekin/peoria next sat. and be back home sun evening. 11/21-11/22
The guy with the hoods is 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities. I've got family in Indy and Ft. Wayne, so it could stay there if needed. Everyone knows this thing is kinda big, right? Who would be able to pick it up in MN, and get it east-bound, and how far east? I think from what it looks like, the initial pick-up is what's lacking. -Brad
If need be, I can run and pick it up. Twin Cities is like 4hrs north of here. Either Mason City, Iowa or Prairie Du Chein, Wisconsin would be doable after work some night. Then to Peoria Pekin area next Sat.
i'm 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities, what town are they in? maybe i could pick them up and store them for a while..but i don't plan on traveling any time soon
what is the name of the town it is in ,in mn? would you want it dropped in ft.wayne ,indy or brought back to s.e. mi. about 1 mile off I-75?
Hey Brad, I'm in Lexington KY and I have a pickup. Let me know if I can help, I have room for storage too.
8 people willing to help out but still double top secret where the hood is. If I go 45 mins south of Twin Cities and then to Peoria, That's 15 hours of driving round trip. Running out of time to make my schedule work and hit connections on time.
I'm waiting to hear back from the guy as to what town specifically he lives in! Aaaargh! He's on another site, so I keep "pinging" him. Hopefully I'll hear back in the next day or two. My parents live in Toledo, and I'm coming up there for Thanksgiving. My brother lives in Indy, and my favorite uncle lives in Ft. Wayne. Any of those drop-offs would be fantastic. I've GOT to get the guy to answer where it's at! Thanks for everyone's help and support with this. -Brad
I just found out he's in Owatonna, MN. So how's that work for anyone here? Owatonna to any of the following: Indy, Ft. Wayne, Toledo, SE Michigan, or anywhere along I-75. And just to be really clear, this is a big ol' freakin' hood for a '60 Chevy truck, so it's probably not gonna fit in the trunk of an Dodge Neon. -Brad
Can anyone get itto Albert Lea or Mason City? Otherwise, I guess it will be Owatonna after work Friday afternoon. Is it paid for and ready to pick upby Friday around 5 or 6 o'clock?
How far south do you want to go? I'm 4 hrs south of Owatonna. Is 35 still tore up between Albert Les and Owatonna?
i will be in pekin on shridan on sat. until early afternoon and can meet up somewhere. i live about 25 miles north of toledo ,so i can drop it at your parents or bring it home as i have plenty of room inside to store it until you come up ,if you like. i hope to be able to check the web on the road.
You've got a private message. To muddy the waters, I've found another hood, being sold by a HAMBer. He lives in Brookings, South Dakota, and said he'd be able to get it into Minnesota if someone can meet him. I'd rather give my hard-earned to a HAMBer than someone else, and it looks like the location for him dropping it in MN is about the same mileage as the other. -Brad
