Attended my first Relix Riot, and probably not my last, a couple weekends ago. These guys and gals know how to put on a great, fun show. And the grounds at the Gilmore Museum are beautiful! Lots of museum displays to check out, a working diner, an old Shell gas station and plenty of trees with real shade! A perfect layout for a car show and lots of good backgrounds for some "artsy" Photos. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed the Relix Riot show.
Just getting ready to ask if anybody had gotten pictures of my 57 Buick, when I did post it and look the first picture you posted was the Buick. Great shot -- will definitely put it in my Buick photo album. Thanks for reading my mind. TwoChops
Here's a couple more shots for you. You obviously put a lot of thought into the chop on this car. Well proportioned and if you'd taken another inch out it would have just looked comical.
That's my kid and in my hot rod,he loves it he cries when you take him out. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
This 57 Buick has got to be one of the nicest cars at the Relix Riot. I couldn't keep my eyes off it. Stu
That 57 Buick is the car we picked as our club pick at this year's Riot.. He also received a pick from some other people at the Custom Car Revival in Indy this year. Matt
Well.I knew that my old eyes were still working okay. I followed him in Saturday a.m. and I told my grandson's that Buick was a quality piece. I spoke to the owner and his wife for a while. The Riot was a blast. Your club did an outstanding job. Thanks for all the effort put forth to make it the excellent event that it was. Hope to see you next year!! Stu
Saw this at the Road Rockets Rumble at Indy a couple of months ago. As stunning as this car is I'm nearly convinced that it sounds even better than it looks. And that's based on just hearing it idle around a bit at the show. This thing had a cackle like an injected alcohol car. It must really bark when he puts the boot to it. I hope you got hear it as well as see it!
