That's cool... I remember the old Pie Crust Slick Logo... Should've joined up back then..

 

Yeah, I remember the wheel and tire logo from a while back, but did not know about the website.

 

I too remember that web site and as a matter of fact the Dec. 06 1998 (first issue) Shag submited my article on "How To Build A Carson Top" I wrote for a car club newsletter.

What I remember is how pissed off I used to get everytime I Googled anything hot rod related. All I would get was links to this bloody annoying HAMB website. Couldn't get past it.

the earliest post you'll find is probably '01-'02 probably not even that old, there were a couple of issues that lost the early stuff at one point....

 

I remember finding the JJ and HAMB in '00-'01 when I was studying Graphic design at TAFE, I was searching for photos of Dick Flint's roadster and of the GNRS 50th, I tryed to sign up to the HAMB but didn't have an email, I didn't know about free Hotmail account & no home computer.

I remember that carson top write up. In fact, I think I have it in my file cabinet somewhere.

10 years is a long time. Brewsir, C9, Shag and a few others were always on. I wonder how much time at work I have "wasted" in the last ten years on the HAMB

I remember lurking on here from 99 and 2000, when I was 14, didnt join until 06 though

 

Nostalgia is a thing of the past....
