OK I'll admit it,I actually enjoy listening to Paul Harvey's "rest of the story" on the way home from work. Well today the story was reallly cool, about a man named Ted Horn, and how his life was changed one day by getting pulled over by a policeman after speeding by him in his roadster.Though I can't find a link for the Harvey story, I was able to find this bit of info from Wikepedia.Though he had a tragic end to his life, it is inspiring to hear his story.

Ted Horn was one of my father's racing heros. You would be able to find out more about him at the Latimore museum, EMMR or Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. The museum is where the Jalopy Showdown happens.

Look around on eBay and Amazon for The Life of Ted Horm American Racing Champion by Russ Catlin. This is soft cover Floyd Clymer book with 223 pages of text and photos.
