Technical Remove primer off original paint ?

    Trying to get expert advice for removing rattle can primer off of original paint.

    WASH that car a few times before doing any thing 1st. (A) Clay bar. (B) Rag w/a touch of Acetone or Lacquer thinner (experienced only) (C) A very fine polish/compound that should be used on the thickest of the spayed paint. There is a lot of 'renewable paint' on that car. http://www.autogeek.net/meg7showcarg.html many times over by hand w/a fiber towel to soak into the OG paint. Do not use wool pad or HD compound. You want to remove as little as possible. Getting it to shine will buy some time, and OG shine is very rare & beautiful blems/dent's/rust and all.
