Im trying to replace the driver side window. I have all the moulding off but it appears the gl*** is glued into the bottom rail. Do any of you know if thats the case and any tricks to get it out? Thanks

The gl*** and lower rail come out together. You have to remove the vent and ***embly first, two C clips hold the lower rail to the mechanism that raises the gl***.

Thr door gl*** is held in the lower track with a rubber setting tape. When putting gl*** back I remove the rubber and set the gl*** using non acetic cure silicon (plumbers roof and gutter). You could also use Sikaflex adhesive sealer.
The whole episode of removing gl*** for the novice is hard work. Just make sure you have undone all the bolts holding the vent window in. There is small one about halfway down the door that holds the gl*** track which is riveted to the the vent window. The C clips holding the gl*** track to the runner can be a right PITA to release.
Good luck - not a job I enjoy.
    Regards

If you have dental picks, or a very small screwdriver, the clips that hold the pins (at the end of the regulator scissors) to the rollers will pop out pretty easily. The trick is you have to do this with very little sight line...almost like your blind. Good luck

You can use a heat gun to heat the channel which will help removal. Just be careful to not heat it too much as you can melt the plastic between the two layers of gl***.
