Greetings. I was registered some time ago under a different name, (cheapskate) but had a computer problem which caused the HAMB not to recognize me. I am rejoining so I can contribute on occasion. I guess I am one of the somewhat older guys. Started driving in 1956. Built a sleeper in 1960, raced Woodward for a while. Was away from the hobby from time I was drafted in '64 until 1978 when I bought a 67 Vette. Sold the Vette to concentrate on family until 1985. Built a 55 F100 which I passed on to my son last year. Bought a rough 29 Ford Coupster in 2004. Started a complete redo (frame up deal with upgrades including a .030 401 nailhead). Nearly done with redo (yea, right). Need to install 6X2 setup, finish interior, tweak some stuff. I have been privileged to be the pit crew of a gas roadster at Bonneville for the last several years. I am primarily a gofer, tent putter upper, tarp sweeper, lunch getter-but I am there and part of it! I have enjoyed the HAMB so much I wanted to contribute and join the Alliance. I am letting my car mag subscription run out. I get all I need on the HAMB. Looking forward to putting my 2 cents in once in a while.
