    took a short visit to Reno to see the beginnings of Hot August Nights Downtown. went to the Event Center for the Big Boys Toys event that is promoted by Summit Racing. equipment/parts on display. plus, some goofy OT stuff.     My wife and I went back in 2015. Really enjoyed the whole thing and thought it was very well run. There are so many cars you're guaranteed to see stuff you like. I'd go back again. Thanks for the pics

    Hey Jalopy Joker, is there one area/casino/event at Hot August Nights that caters to more of the HAMB style of tradtional hotrods??? Just curious. Planning on attending next year and just tryin to figure out the lay of the land. Thank you!

    - it is up to the individual as to where they end up at. members of one car club I know never go into Reno. maybe others here that are regulars know of a special gathering point.

    Thanks for taking the time to post. Great pics.
    Went a couple times back in the mid 90's. Always rode my Harley up and stayed out in Sparks and watched the cruise at Victoria Square. Went around to the different casinos to their shows. Never did go to downtown Reno. Back then there were a lot of douchebags creating problems downtown.
