Went clear across the state to an REO concert. My buddies 62 Impala had the gen light come on so we pulled into a Texaco in this small town. The old dude said he would sell us a truck. Well it turned out the generator pulley had just come loose so we are ready to go back on the road and I ask to see the truck. It was a 1951 Ford F2. He wanted $50 and we could all scrape up about that much. So I said we'd take it id he filled it with gas, done deal. Drove it 150 miles home.
When I started driving tractor-trailers in 1982, we had some Diamond T& Diamond Reos(not sure what year they were). Here's a pic of one
