What is involved with getting an original 32 fuel gage to work. Maybe a look alike gage with a more modern sender......??? Thanks in advance
Original gauges were a whole different animal than modern electric. They had fluid in a long tube pressurized by the sender. Not easy at all to restore.
PM @ct1932ford on here as he had one or two original 1932 gauges repaired recently and was very pleased with the result. Be prepared for as @alchemy says these gauges are not your common type and repair will not be cheap but if you want to play you've gotta pay LOL
Providing the bezel(its plastic and fragile)) and face are decent I can fix them if housing not rusted out.I am just to far away + return shipping is $35.Contact John Wolf & Co in OH. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwj6kMG2t5jvAhVVDmMBHaiVCkkQFjAAegQIARAE&url=https://www.antiqueinstrument.com/&usg=AOvVaw2snW0ONVJ-MBC1SFeM6drc
