Replacing brake lines... suggestions?

    napa has the new "black" lines . cheaper & can be done by hand . im using them & so far all is good ! many lengths

    Well good news folks, I finally go my parts car back.. I do have brand new brake lines on there. And with any luck it'll be an easy swap. And brand new exhaust.

FWIW, every single brake job I've done with that green plastic coated stuff - every one - I get it as tight as I think it will go at the unions, bleed it out, go drive my car and the first good hard stop at least one of those unions starts to leak and has to be cranked back down. Not because it came loose, but apparently because the pressure in the system opens up the flare where you can't quite completely compress it by hand. I wish I could get the old silver colored stuff so once I was done, I was done.
