    hi ya'll
so i've been working on my 37 ford 1/2 ton panel, trying to get the eccentric brakes that were installed by the previous owner, to work and after many tries i've decided to replace them. i want to do the rear first and then maybe disc on the front but for now just looking for rear.
i have read where the next generation of ford juice brakes are a direct replacement. i'd like to know what i need to make the switch. is there a "kit" on the market or do i just look for certain parts from a certain model and year? any information on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

You have 2 options in Hydraulic replacements; reproduction Lincoln aftermarket and 39 up Lockheed (Ford) brakes. Either will require a Master cylinder and '39,'40 pedal ***embly and plumbing 1/4 " steel brake line with hoses to each wheel . You may have the option of keeping your "wide 5" drums and wheels. https://hotrodworks.com/product/lincoln-brake-drum/. Watch the cl***ified here for used stock 39-48 brake parts and maybe just buy wheel cylinders and brake shoes new.
