Took my 35 to Sloan show in Flint Sunday and on the way back it started running like crap. Going to put in a new set of plugs and points and condencer, and clean the carb out too. i cant remember if its better to take the plugs out cold or heat the engine up first. I put the plugs in about 2 years ago and i think i used anti-sieze on the plugs then. But i messed up one of the plug threads at the time,an had to put a heliecoil in the head. So would like to get the plug change done with out a problem. The heads are Edelbrocks. Hot or Cold ? Thanks. 8-Ball

For what it's worth, I always change the plugs in the Jaguar alloy heads cold - fingers burn otherwise. And ALWAYS use anti sieze! Even in iron heads. I do hope the repair stays in, I just did one that it did not - had to pull the head and have a real insert installed.

A trick to save you from cross-threading them... Put a 3" or 4"
piece of vacuum line on the plug's terminal. Use the hose to start the plug into the head. You can't put enough torque on the piece of vacuum line to cross thread it. Saved me many a headache, it's a carry over from the world of DOHC 4 bangers with the plug holes way recessed into the head.
