I've been watching the build on this one, and I gotta say.... what they all said +1!! This is my idea of the perfect hot rod.
Great car! and thanks for posting all the pictures and information about it. I have used them for reference many times.
Absolutely outstanding and inspiring. Thanks for the do***entation on the build, it helps those of us contemplating a coupe build on a lot of areas. Well done Rolf!!! Bill
I went for a ride the other night in Rolf's car and let me tell you, it runs and drives as good as it looks. This thing has more power than I'd want, what a drag. It absolutely sparkles. Great job bud...
"Sick of seeing it," no way I,m on here nearly everyday to see what else you,ve been doing.Be sure to keep us up to speed on the interior details too.
I love it , no rust for a change and I always thought folks were proud of the cars they built and yours is the perfect example of pride. enjoy it now as you should ........
Rolf, I appreciate everything you have done, posted ,answered many questions, gave out your phone number ,etc. Like many others here on the Hamb you have helped me tremendously with my build up on my roadster. Your work is amazing and the finished product is and was well worth the wait. I wish I had the time and mainly the money to make my roadster look as nice as your has turned out but with time I may do it someday. From the frame, to the body, motor, set up, etc you nailed it and I love it. Now get out there and get this baby seen. The next pics I see of it better have some bug guts on the front of it. You Go ROLF!!!!!
Perfect hotrod, congratulation on a stunning build and letting us follow along with the tech and pictures!!
2 words - Bad *** The things I like about it; Color, wide white, no chrome rings on wheels, lakes headers, kept top insert instead of filled, non-sbc (I like sbc but its a nice change to see something else used). Great job!!
Hi Rolf, This is one beautiful coupe. EVERYTHING works well together. At 53, I'm putting together my first hot rod, also an A coupe. Traditional East coast, channel, no chop, 324 Rocket with and early Ford drivetrain. If it comes out anywhere as nice as this, I will be thrilled. Thanks for sharing. Dave
If you would be sick of looking at that you have no business being on this board. Great car, great to look at. And an inspiration to get my **** out there to do some work. Thanks for posting.
Perfection. What else can be said? Other than . . . can we get some pics of the interior? . . . and VIDEO of this baby in action!?
One of the most difficult things to do in building a hot rod is to capture the 'look.' You've done that very well Mr. Rolf. Craftsmanship is excellent as well. I hope my roadster turns out half as nice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any chance you have a dead-on rear view photo? I've been entertaining thoughts of swapping out the 39 taillights for Pontiacs on my 31 and running a similar license plate location. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Are the magazine guys looking? Here's your next cover car. Get it while it's fresh....
