is it true that Edlebrock will reproduce a 6 carb mani?? if so does anyone have pictures and/or prices?!?!?
If you are talking the X-1 crossram, yup, $450 and it's gunna be a MF'er to tune btw.... I believe offy has been making a 6 carb manifold for a while that'll be a lot easier to run....
I saw they make the dual 4 crossram for small block chevys and fords i believe. Why not big block chevy too! Im sad.... *edit* i got upgraded to grenade inspector with this post i guess!
I used to race with a guy that had a Ford Y block 312 that had six dueces on it. It was a highly modified engine but when it was running right he found the Finish Line first. BUT... his pit was constantly fiddling with the fuel management system. Linkage and balancing of the set. Normbc9
I guess if you are reading this thread you are interested in 6 x 2 intakes and I would like to slightly hijack this thread to tell my "Well Kick Me Square In The But For Being Such A Dummy" story: Years ago when I moved to a new neighborhood I noticed an A sedan behind my neighbors house. It was beat but it had an Olds V8 with a six-deuce intake w/ five 8BA carbs on it. Long story short - I bought the sedan and junked the Olds V8. I tripped over the intake in my garage for a few years until one day we got invited to a party where everybody had to bring a "gag" gift. You guessed it - I took the six-deuce intake with the five carbs into the party and left it. Stoopid stoopid stoopid.
i got a six deuce intake and carbs for sale for a friend of mine. its for a small block chevy. if interested pm me. its listed in the parts section w/pics.
Jegs have them for sale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/33071005034...46&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&vxp=mtr
This is gunna be the same deal as when the 1st good repop '32 shells came out a few years back, originals dropped a little but not too far, and the people with originals refused to take the lower prices, so the market went screwy.....
