Damn, just exceptionally cool.....great job. Got a little more room in my trunk......I used a 50's leather Bell Telephone serviceman's tool box and an old leather bowling bag for my jumper cables and a couple of Fix-a-flats.
Really neat. I "can" dig it. You can even say your tool can has a "safety" belt . I love simple yet inovative stuff like this.
Since we are sort of combining toolbox ideas and jerry can ideas... I saw something like this in an old vw van a couple years ago. Very cool. I did a search online cause surely others have thought of it too. Even found a How-to video.
I tried to sell this tank (it was the original tank in my 1967 Tahiti boat with a 110hp O/B engine) and no buyers so it’s now the tool box for my ‘34
did this about 15 years ago to mount on the running board of an AD truck. sold the truck, never finished putting guides on the inside and a tool box latch on it.
