So I am in the market to replace my radiator in my truck. Does anyone have any input on a good company to deal with? It seems that somewhere in the price range of $650 for a pretty plain-jane rad seems to be about the entry price for one.

The overall dimensions of my pretty rotten one is 20''x32'' and I was planning on going with an electric puller fan with a shroud too.

Any suggestions on who to avoid or who treated you right?

Check with PRC. We've gotten probably 4 from them so far and each one has been a work of art and very efficient. Price is also very good, and they will custom make it to whatever you need. I will be needing a radiator for my rpu project in the next few months and that is where I will go again. Great people to deal with before and after the sale too.

Thanks Don, I had pulled up their page earlier today when I was piddling around and really liked how clean their stuff looked. Some of the other sites I went to had welds that were rather unsightly, especially for an advertisement piece.

I just like to get input before I blindly pick someone from the internet lol

I got a U.S. Radiator. I was adding A/C to my '52 Chevy and wanted a radiator to handle the heat plus, be a direct fit. I got a copper/brass 4 row triple pass radiator. I couldn't be happier with the results and it was a direct fit.

Thanks for the heads up, they were someone else that I had looked at today. And sorry for your expensive loss.

That was the first thing we noticed about the radiators from PRC, the welds look like a robot did them. Like most rodders, we like neat welds and we were super impressed with the ones on their radiators.

A few years ago they had a booth at Turkey Run in Daytona and the President of PRC spent a long time talking cooling systems with us and I found him to be very knowledgable and honest. All the times I have called his company I got the same treatment from everyone there. Nice guys.

There are a lot of good companies out there making radiators, this one just happens to be one I like a lot.

I've been having CARS (Custom Auto Radiator Service), in Forked River, NJ, make my custom radiators for my, and friends, projects. They do each one to order, with your specifications. Type and amount of rows, with or without all the additions, trans cooler, bungs, condenser, neck size and placement, etc.
    Never disappointed!

Speaking of radiator shops, I bring all my repairs to a little dingy shop near here where a guy sits all day with a friend or two, once in a while a customer shows up.

Once I asked him how he makes any money there with so little business.

He stated that he only is there to meet and speak with people, his real job is a pilot on 747's for a freight company!

I am -1 on the US Radiator. The brackets weren't even close for a proper fit on the one I recieved
