Request for Wild Pic.'s of Panel and Scallop Jobs

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tony Bones, Sep 10, 2004.

  1. No tame stuff. No early 50's stuff. Just ridiculously wild, over the top, 60's style psychedelic paint jobs. Oh, lace jobs and crazy fogging are cool too.

    Let er' rip and thanks.

  2. I've been lookin for similar stuff, myself. Anyone?

I posted a thread like this the other day and got next to nothing. It was on page three after about an hour or two. I don't even think a hundred people opened the thread.

But maybe Barnett can use some of his HAMB clout and his minions will post some pics. [IMG] [IMG]

Seriously, anything from Watson and his counterparts of the era would work. LSD, LSD!

how do you do the lace paint job? do you place a lace table cloth on the roof or wherever then shoot over it?

  25. All day long my balls were hurtin, but I couldn't figure out why. Then, I look here...it's because you guys were bustin them over and over! [IMG] I knew The Harpoon had to have some good stuff in his private collecction...what else have you done, man? Where's the pics of your 'Bird? Lots of good stuff posted, though. LowRiders would be good inspiration...they tend to go a bit overboard, but lots of good ideas can be stolen from them and cleaned up (simplified). I spent a couple of hours, the other night, just searchin the web for vintage 60's-70's chopper, funny car, altered and show car paint jobs. I must be doin something wrong, though, because I was finding very few things. Somebody HAS to have the "Holy Grail" link to somme of these paint jobs! Alright...I gotta go gget some ice, now... 27. See, now that's what I'm talkin' bout'! Those microdots will get you every time.

Let me know how things work out w/ that ice Barnett. Remember to work w/ the grain, not against it.
