Requesting to remove personal information

So, there is a thread from a few years ago that contains some personal information of mine, and it just seems like good practice to not have that kind of stuff floating around on the internets, available to any search engine.

If I had posted it, it would be trivial to just delete the select information, the problem is that it is in someone else's post. I am not upset that it was posted, just the opposite, at the time I am very glad they did, but it would be best if just wasn't there anymore.

I thought about flagging the post for the moderators, but it seemed like an abuse of the flagging system (calling 911 for a sliver?). Though it would be best to ask here first.
