I have a 1967 283 in my gay-rog waiting for me to make it cool. I LOVE small displacement, high winding engines. It is the root(hawg) of my crack-addiction.

My FAVORITE small block drag car was a '74 Vega with an 11k rpm 301, complete with a lenco back in '91. NOTHING comes close to the sound and excitement of a short stroke small block chivvy hitting redline, and fuck all the sbc whiners.

Got a 63 small journal 283 just waiting for a T coupe someday. I too love high reving small journal chevys. Actually a 289 ford is no joke either. As far as your poll is concerned I find them all the time, some dumbass is always trading one in for the 350 crate motor!

Yes I have a Chevrolet V8 less than 302 CI.

A 56 265 that came in my first 32 Ford. It needs a sleeve but maybe someday I'll step up to the plate and rebuild it.

Oh yeah 259 Studebaker in the P/U
