Hot Rods resizing picture frustration

    i give up.after hours of trying,finally bought a camara that will resize to 640x480 vga and i still can not post pics. downloaded 3 different resizing sites.did get a couple to go than back to no go.i can go on kijiji and everything gets uploaded???am i the only one on here fighting with this?

    if i was home in nova scotia,i could get my grandson to come over to do it for me.at least i can change the tv channels!

    I used to, until I discovered the re-size function already in my PC. Do you have "paint" on your comp? Most do. I ***ume you are able to download pics to your computer from your camera??? If so, let me know and I'll walk you through the process. Tim

    thats the program "PAINT"! I remember way back here having windows 95 trying to resize and download, HUGE HEADACHE!

    If you get a free Photobucket account (or similar) you can store your pictures there and put them into your posts here without regard to the size.

    Don't know **** about computers and this may not be any help but, I go to my folder, right click on the pic, click edit, then find resize, chose pixels and set the biggest number at 800. Anything bigger and it don't seem to work.

    Bingo Landseandair! That's the way.
    I had file size issues at first, now, if I'm posting pics here, I edit them in my pictures folder first, usually resize about 25%. Don't have this issue with any other sites, but it's no h***le once you get used to it.
