I've got a few window debacles that need solving on my 53 customline. The rear window rubber has a gap in it right in the middle of the rear window. Makes car washes and rain real fun. Usually the kid is on flood duty but when she isnt present keeping the ol. Ford on the road whilst saving the interior is a little sketchy.
Also my driver's wing window has some. Wonky hinges. The bottom one is rusted and broke so if you unlatch it it will fall out. You wouldn't believe how many people I have to stop from unlatching my wing window.... Also it gets hot and I'm air cooled.

Steele Rubber or Rubber The Right Way for gaskets, just plug in your car info and a list pops up. Hard parts, I have found lots on eBay.

If your problem with the vent window is the bottom pivot odds are it is rusty and has broken,

I couldn't find the replacements for a '54 Ford car but did source them for a pickup, they are close and work fine.

    I found the pivot HERE

To replace the pivot you will have to remove the vent window, if your like me you will probably break the gl*** because it has to be removed to get to the hinge, good luck! HRP
