I just signed up this afternoon. I am fom San Jose , CA. I am currently working as a mechanic at an independant shop that specializes in carburators and hot rods. I have been into old cars since I started driving a 63 Galaxie 500 after highschool when I started as an apprentice at a local gas station. My current project is a 31 Model A that I picked up last summer. I just scored a 1950 Olds rocket 88 along with some Edlbrock speed equipment. Just starting to collect parts, I'm leaning towards a nice clean late fifties, early 60's era hot rod. This site looks like a great resource to talk with people willing to share their knowledge.
