Welcome to paradise(with NO dashboard lights)John.I officially retired last January(2006)although I have been "medically" retired since 1993. In the past 6 months or so I have done more than the past 5 years! But I enjoy it a lot more.My full time job(#1)was working as a parts manager for a dealership that I had been at since 1972.My second full time job(after I finished the day doing #1)was striping new cars for about a half dozen dealerships in the surrounding area which lasted about 7 years before I slowed down a bit and only worked 3 nights a week instead of 5.Weekends were for doing bikes and other cars. I still have projects sitting in the wings(my 57 has been waiting nearly 10 years now)but now I don't feel the pressure to complete them.If they get done all well and good but I'm not losing sleep over it if they don't. Short story long:ENJOY! Whatever you choose to do.
Congrats! I think I would have a burnout in at the most a month orso after my retirement... so much left to do... on my cars...
