Hi and welcome. Nice 35 there & I remember the Volvo's or the fifties as there were some around home back then. How about more photo's of the 35?
The 35 looks like it does not need a bunch of replacement parts but any can be found at either www.kanter.com or at www.Robertsmotorparts.com . I purchased from both for my 50 Plymouth Deluxe. Ended up using after market gauges recently as finding working originals did not pan out well. With the exception of the gauges & 12 volts with alternator it is all original. I am in the process of having a bracket made for an AC compressor and will then add a vintage air unit as this 100+ Texas temp is too tough on me at age 82. This photo is when I purchased it last year. Taking care of a few nit picking electrical problems right now and will take a bunch of new photo's when done. Jimmie

    Hi Jimmie,
How kind of you to remember the Volvo’s and complement on the 35’.
I’m very lucky it a good runner, as I mentioned prior 2nd owner kept it in beautiful condition for 56 years.. He was the last of his contemporaries to upgrade to a modern ride.. ( traded for a Miata, so this 35 was on the showroom floor of a Mazda dealership where I purchased if from after just two days there..
Changed the oil and drove it 60 miles home .... 50 was top speed...
So Jimmie , how often do you cruise in your 50’s Deluxe ?

    We’ll talk soon ,
    Kind Regards,
    jim

I drive it often. At least once a week I take it to town doing an errand and our AACA club in Victoria has a show & shine once a month and a cruise once a month. Area car shows have mostly been inactive this year but I expect them happening more the rest of this year.
I live way out in the country and my house is 1/4 mile each way to the mail box and I use the 50 most days for that just to keep the battery up.-

Since you like Volvos, check out what my neighbor is doing on " throttle stop garage" on YouTube.
