Who used REPO sheet metal for a 1955-57 Chevy truck DOORS and FRONT fenders. How was the fit up or was it a lot of EXTRA work to make them work. Any answers and pictures will help and where were they bought-- Thanks

...I used repro front fenders on my 55, fit real well...I don't know who made them as I traded some older NOS fenders for these from a friend who wanted GM fenders...

  3. Only repo sheet metal I have purchased was for my 55 Sedan. Hood looked good until I installed it. Front edge where the chrome grill bar goes across the leading edge is out 3/8 of an inch. on one end I can fix it....can you? Stick with OEM steel even if it costs more, and takes time to find. Mine is a Gold Star for whats worth.
