Technical Reverse air/fuel flow

    Totally OT but some late model BMW's have this type of set up. Most of the BMW techs I know say it's crap, but not sure if that's due to the reverse induction or just in general.

    How many small rocks and dust will the carbs draw in located behind the front tires? Yea, it might work, but you can run a race faster going forward, wrather than running backwards.

    I think they did this so the exhaust would no longer run through the block. Remember, Ford flathead V8's are not "crossflow". I'm sure these run cooler. Valve sizes can be changed. Mike
