    YES! That guy can really tell a story. That should bring back memories to all of us, small town, old farts. Thanks for the post...I REALLY enjoyed it.

    I didn't know half the stuff about Mr B.D.

    I knew he liked to fly !

    But I do like the way he writes also, I guess you call it small town layed back ?

    Thats what i'm talking about,I'ved tried searching for it but can't find anything,also emailed him,but no reply so far........

    Would love ta see some updated pictures.

    Anybody have any info on his car/rebuild?

    BTT: Just ran across Budd's story, I had linked through his airplane site: http://www.airbum.com/ looking for something completely different, but read his roadster story and really enjoyed it. Thought it truly a HAMB worthy story, so naturally when I searched for his name here, someone had already posted it. Great story of how he built it the car at age 15, and how he rebuilt it after it sat for 40 years.
