Starting to like it better. Made room and put it in the garage. Glass is actually in good shape.

Slowly getting barn smell out of it. Next trying the Baking Soda trick tip from Hamber.

    Very rare truck.
My Dad ordered a 65 F-250 and one of the colors listed on the order sheet
    was “primer”
    Never seen one with buckets.

I ordered a complete with wires ignition kit. Dist, wires, & curve tuning parts as well. The 352 sounds good when it runs periodically. After seeing the points plate tilting with mechanical adv, decided on electronic update.

Pretty good start. Bucket seats were a "Ranger" option. I think I've read somewhere that they were Falcon seats.
Gene Koning mentioned that a member here was in the middle of a 3000 mile road trip. That was me in "Ol' Furd." My 1965 F100.
We ended up going 3500 miles, with minimal issues, and none that required roadside repairs. When I got my truck the mechanicals were in far worse shape than yours. I hadn't run or been registered for 20 years. I didn't dink around with anything. I stripped it down to a bare cab and chassis and renovated every aspect.
I agree with the others. Get it running and driving, fix issues as they pop up, and do what you have to with the bed.

While mine did have a bed, it had sat for many years with debris....wet debris. Rotted the floor, int inner sidewalls and the top rails. I used the outer bed sides, and built a flatbed to use those because I liked the look of those. Picture below for.....well.....just because! In western Nevada, just east of the White mountains. I was told the seats are similar to Standard Ford Mustang, and the console is out of a 65 falcon. Interesting vehicle none the less. A curator with a registry told me this truck is 3mo earlier than any he has documented so far. It was purchased by the Cleveland Ohio Ford Dealer Network. Truck was only 30miles from Cleveland
