Reviving 1965 F100 Ranger field truck

    This thing was operated on duct tape and hose clamps.

    3/8in movement his morning. 3x more washers, 40ft lbs & KROIL.

    Stopped raining, got the bitch running.....
    Runs good for 25+ years sitting.

    Have video .mpg running, but it will not upload.

    You did put a little anti-seize on that dist shaft before you installed it, right?

    Running on the 65 truck fuel tank. Funny, varnish, diesel, sea foam, ...gas...few days soak, drain some off.

    Test its vapor with match in fire pit, lit faster than pump gas I've bought lately. Vapor test, says, yeah it will run. Runs better than straight 10% ethanol gas.....

    Auto trans, all gears working. Neutral safety works as well.

    Fuel guage goes to E with key on, will T/S that, might just need sender cleaned from sitting.
    4 ways work...
    Coolant Temp guage works....
    Heater fan...works. blew out another mouse nest.

    Drove in yard. Quiet no noises in trans.

    Next: Brakes, Springs, Shocks .... tires, probably road worthy.

    People interested... I tell them more I fix = price goes up.

    Picked up the county, state paper work on process to get title for abandoned vehicle.
