I got a thousand dollars to go to the person who can get my model A back to me in a reasonable condition. I determine what is reasonable, based on an inspection by myself. I want my damn pickup back. Was last seen in Tygh Valley [North Central} Oregon. Was stolen between Feb and the 9th of May, this year.....no questions asked, just want my pickup back. Was bought new and been in my family since 1930. has sentimental value, natcherly.... Let me know, thanks........

Rocky is it white with black fenders and white wires?? Give us any unusual markings or anything that would be different from a stock "A" pick-up. Good guys will be coming up here in a few weeks so I will keep my eye out. If there is anything different from a stocker let us know so we can identify it easier.

Hey guys...as many of us as there are spread across the country surely we can find this truck...unless it was parted out or something. Maybe if we had some flyers we could hand out at cruise nights, shows, etc. Rocky, could you fix up some kind of flyer we could download and print out? Or, if you could send me the info I could work on one this weekend....just feel like as many of us that are around this country (and others as well) we need to do something!

The truck is the factory light gray it was painted in 1930, only a repaint my dad did about 20 years ago, then garaged. I don't think there's anything not stock about the truck. Has a dark green stock engine.

    This is a great idea!
There's 3000 plus HAMBers, and we all know tons of people.Tell yer friends and family about it.Give em all details on it.
Posters or pics are a good idea too, maybe at the larger meets we go to like GG's or NSRA events.
As much as i hate to say it, even e-Gay for parts of it.We all check there from time to time, so hit the model A parts to see if anything looks familiar.
Rocky, i have never had to deal with something like this, so i'm not gonna say i understand how you feel. I believe i would be crushed if i was in your position.
I wish you the best of luck on the safe return of your truck!
I will keep an eye out for it and tell as many people as i can to do the same.
    again, good luck!!

Theives don't deserve a judge and jury..they oughta be dealt with by the people they stole from!!

PakRat has got it right Rocky. I think you should get the first half hour with the bastard(s) and then let the rest of the HAMB take over while you let your 3/4 breaker bar rest. I can't imagine any part of it ending up here so hope the west coast guys keep their eyes and ears open.

i'll have my eyes open for it. was'nt the VIN number on the motors back then?? do you have any numbers off it?? i hate to say it but unless it was a complete retard that tool it it is likely NOT the same color anymore or it was parted out. sucks you did'nt know it was gone sooner. get us any info that will help find it even if it has been repainted. i know some guys who buy and sell iron all the time and travel out west to get alot of it so i'll let them know to keep an eye open.

    good luck... Mike [IMG]

Thanks everyone...I had my dad's neighbor make a buncha flyers on her computer last weekend and distributed them to local bidnesses from The Dalles [northern Oregon] to medford, [Southern Oregon] during my ramblings around the state. EVERYONE in the tiny town of Tygh Valley is aware of the truck's theft and they all know what it looks like. I really doubt if it's anywhere close to where it was taken, hence the "heads up" on the HAMB. We have guys all the way across this fair country [and the rest of the world] so I can't think of a better place to get some help on this problem. Thanks again, all of you guys...I now have a much better chance of possibly recovering it...you guys are the shit.

Judy Brownell ( jbrownell@hemmings.com ) will be able to help you put the ad in Hemmings Rocky. Of corse,I'll give a picture of the truck to my club members at the cruise night tonight and we'll see what happens. Chances are it won't come to the northeast, but if I find it,you won't owe me nuthin' but a beer !!!!

I got a call from a buddy here at work this morning. Some jerkoff stole the steering box, column and wheel from the Model A in his back yard.
