About to start a full rewire on a Chevy Apache with a Kwikwire 14 circuit harness. It's my first time doing a full rewire. Do yall recommend taking out every single piece of old wire/equipment and starting clean or is it better to mount/replace the fuse panel and go one item at a time. Thanks
I'd start with a repop harness, not an aftermarket type harness....but I also don't go in for electric fans, power windows, etc. you're probably better off taking it all out, but take your time, take pictures, and notes, so you can figure out how it goes back together. It's likely that some of the color codes will be the same on the new harness, but there will be a few differences, for example with the rear lights, and ignition wiring (but I'm ***uming the truck has the original wiring now)
