What are the rules for RWYB? Safety Equip, etc. Many of the guys coming up from Savannah want to know. All of the cars will be driven to the track from Savannah. Nothing purpose built for racing.

 

If the car looks "sanitary", and has seat belts, battery securely mounted,either a hood or aircleaners/scoops on carbs, and some sort of separation between gas tank and passenger compartment, you'll be OK. In past, practice has been to let you know, if and when you exceed the speeds for which they judge your car is safely equipped and asked to soft pedal a bit till noted problems are fixed.
Silver Dollar Raceway is an NHRA approved track, but NHRA rules are only applied to NHRA regional meets, etc. Benn going to RWYB for several years and never have I seen them refuse a decent car the chance to run.

 

Also pants required to race not shorts.
