Goodguys Rhinebeck seemed to generate the most questions about the dates for 2009. As of today (99% final) it will be June 26-27-28, 2009. Hopefully the change will avoid the yearly rain.

HAhaha that's funny! It always rains here in the spring. It doesn't matter when it is, we only have three seasons, Rainy, Muggy and Winter.

Just messin with ya. Any change would be an improvement. The new date doesn't mess with any other shows either, so that's good. I might actually go next year. :D

I went last year with some friends from delaware. It was a good time. Unfortunately I couldn't make it this year.

I think the new dates will cause problems for us. We stayed at a really cool old resort. The resort is probably full in the summer months. Not to mention they have a local show that week.

NSRA's Nashville, TN event and the HAMB's own Hot Rod Cinematic are both that same weekend.

Yep. During the summer there's pretty much something every weekend. Luckily Rhinebeck isn't close to either of those.

I'm sure this will be a welcome change for many. For about 4 or 5 year's myself and a bunch of friend's went to that show..GREAT location, with some really nice car's..
But every year it was cold, rainy and generally shitty weather.
None of us care about driving in it, just being wet and cold most of the time started getting to us, so it's been a few year's since we've gone back..

This may change that.. we all did like the show...

Kirk, any word on date changes for the Blue Suede Cruise. Great show this year but it is up against two big shows with the current dates in 09.

Sounds good to me, now I don't have to wait a whole year to go again.

    NSRA in Nashville?

26 - 28 June is the NSRA Colorado event in Pueblo.
The only NSRA event in TN is Knoxville in May, unless I'm missing something. (Which is normal!)

Actually it's Goodguys in Nashville the same weekend.

  17. Not to mention it's probably within a 100 miles of Pocono. Spreading out the dates should help both events.

Hey Kirk, has anyone contacted the Hotels about the change, so they can give out Goodguys rates? Should be a great show in June. With Rhinebeck in June it looks like I can make the Pocono show next year also. You made me a happy Goodguy with the change.

For the past two years, I've been itching to drive the shoebox up there, but theres always a problem. The wait was just downsized, and I'll have it perfected by then.
