Hey Kona, you're right, Richard is a wonderful fellow. I know what he's going through, I just had the same procedure a week ago. Hurts like hell at first but it's well worth it in the end. Praying for ya Richard. Gary
Richard, I'll be thinking about you when I drink a Natty! I hear that is what they use on you in the recovery room to bring you around? Hey, I'm pulling that 66 to the shop so when you mend - come and pull your 283 - K? I need to get rid of some of my yard art!

Had some good looking ones! The catheter left me in pretty bad shape, however. They cut me pretty good, replaced ruptured discs with cadaver bones, and fused three vertebrae with a plate and six screws. Just like a Sunday Morning Sidewalk, I can't really find any way to hold my head that doesn't hurt. Thanks for all the support. I'm in lot's of pain, I couldn't even finish one beer. I'm still a right handsome S.O.B.
If there was every a time a man needed a beer hat, this is it! Glad you made it through, do as the docs tell ya and you'll be swiggin' in no time!
Man Richard, I just had the very same procedure you did, the doc only cut me in the front I have to wear this if I'm just to tired to hold my head up Glad you're home and drink plenty of Ahem, fluids
Good luck on a speedy recovery man .You hauled a rear axle to the Roundup for me once years back (when you didnt even know me ) and i still appreciate it .Thanks again ...
Hey good luck on a speedy recovery , I had a similar deal done at the base of my spine a couple years back - and no nobody here (hamb/net) wants photos of mine ! .
I think the worst part is the pain from the tube they ran down my throat; hurts like Hell to swallow. My folks gave me some prime rib and I can't even eat it!
