Technical Richard's F1 Pickup: 8BA heads are cracked! Can we fix it? (F1 Pickup Pt5).

Those that have been paying attention will know we did get Richard's 8BA running in the 50 F1. When he drove it he found problems with the heads. We decided to use some French heads as I had some. They are similar but need some machining to replicate the 8BA heads. A chance for me to get some time in on the milling machine. Follow along to see how it went..

About your extension cable...I think you need to invest in a new one.

Yeah. The extension is ok, it's the lead on the drill that is fubared.

 

Great as usual Mart! Love the Narrow Boat and the c****s. I would kill almost to spend a week or two on one!
