Ride along with PF --part 6--

It has been another beautiful week here on the Plains of KS and I have seen alot of scenery once again. I will share a few of my photos here with you.
In case you are new to this series, I drive 200-300 miles a day all over the central part of Kansas for my real job.
I still have my sideline of selling engines and this photography thing is just a hobby.
Anyway, let's start this out with some vehicles I have seen along the road...

 

and I found this cool old carnival boneyard...

 

Wow, the Hamb is incredibly slow at loading photos...........not sure I have time for this

 

And now for some more old cars and trucks...

 

We need that 58-9 chevy pu!!!

 

Always lots of variety along the KS roads...

 

The wheat already looks fantastic and here is an old ghost town store with seating out front for the "Liar's Club""

 

And I saw a couple more Chevy's

 

and some more cool stuff here....the gas pump belongs to Hamber artswrk who was not home when I stopped by...

 

I even stopped by at one point in my week to say hello to the ever popular Hamber "Engine Pro 5X" who was ranting and raving like a mad man about his internet service or lack of it.
The poor boy is working too hard and seems stressed. I recommended more beer and left promptly...
no word yet on why he always has a rag on his shoulder.....

 

and I also love old barns and farm animals...

 

One of my oxygen customers would like to sell this short wheel based 1962 IH Metro van for $500. He said it used to be a door to door sales "Jewel T" vehicle. They sold pots and pans and household items to housewives...
I need a job like that.......oh wait a minute never mind

Kansas appears to be the island where all the misfit AD trucks go! And that 62 Galaxie could be so cool.

Thanks for doing this, I always look forward to these posts. Reminds me of traveling the country roads in Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri looking for tin when I was a youth.
