    It has been another good week here on the Plains of KS and once again I have taken alot of photos throughout my week of backroad journeys. I will post a few of them on here to share with you. :)
    First up are some gas pumps on a farm that I liked. They still use them...

    I loved this old abandoned cafe in a tiny ghost town where only a few people live and no businesses are open any longer...
    Check out the bench in front for the "Liars's Club" ;)

    and I stopped in front of this old garage and nearby gas station in another ghost town far away from anything for alot of miles...

    and another pair of farm trucks and small town station (formerly Phillips 66) that is still in operation and has full service gas and the old grocery store is still open there too...

    And then on Thursday night I attended our weekly cruise night in Salina and saw a couple of cars I liked...

    and one day this week we actually hit 95 degrees here and I stopped to look at a freshly cut field of alfalfa hay and it really smelled good...

    and at a repair shop I saw this old Frazer sedan that was for sale...very boxy but they say they have cool interiors...

    and of course Mrs. PF has been cooking up a storm and one night she made this bacon and egg quiche that sure had alot of flavor...

    and we are toying with the idea of starting up a pie bakery here and she has been experimenting with some recipes for that...
    here is the apple version of "Poverty Pies"

    We,, I hope you enjoy this small part of my week. My facebook friends get to see alot more photos of other non car related things.

    Yep, always good to catch up with you. I am starting on the lawn today and driving my truck around, those 302's really do have some torque!

    Your pictures of the little girl and her pet chickens reminds me of our kids when they were young. They loved their pet chickens, rabbits, and ducks. Nothing better than Kansas country living.
