they resemble wheels made by eagle alloys, eagle 211 or the boss 338.

Eagle Alloys are cheap but I have not heard anyone having problems with them. One of the shops in my lil town is a distributor and you see them on just about everything.

I've had a set in my shop before... they took a ton of weight to balance.

  4. Thank you for the honest answers.
I only wanted to know if they were crap or a good value for a guy's hard earned money.
My ride needs a change. I'm plain tired of the rusty wobbly rims I'm riding on now and want something a little shinier.
Chicks like chrome and it might get 'er to your home.

  6. I've had the Ridlers on my '47 Ford coupe for five months now. I am very carful regarding roads I drive over because of low ground clearance. 4 inches at the front crossmember.
Nothing has bent. Nothing shattered and they balanced up easily.
I realize they're NOT traditional but i've never received a single negative comment from any fellow enthusiasts while eyeballing the car and rims.
If I want traditional, I can jam some bias and steelies back under it or go drive my '28 or the '32.
I am very pleased with the Ridlers and Jeff at JD wheels.
    It was a happy upgrade.
